Ron Contarsy has been a leading international fashion and commercial photographer for more than fifteen years, shooting for top magazines and working with many of the best male and female models today.

After winning first place in Eastman Kodak's annual international high school photography contest in his senior year, Ron studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California and at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Following his schooling, he pursued his other passion, skiing, and became a member of the US Freestyle Ski Team on the World Cup Tour. While competing in major skiing events, he also shot for Skiing, Ski, and Powder.

Moving to Milan to study fashion, he worked for several major French and Italian magazines including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Amica.

Ron continues to do editorial, advertising, and celebrity photography for publications in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

For select assignments, he is available with art director and photographer Seth Karecha. Working together as Contarsy+Karecha, they are active contributors to Tatler and Harper's Bazaar. Other recent credits: Zink, Cosmopolitan, Noi.se, Prestige, and Profil Femme.
